All Mangas Reader

I have low bandwidth internet connection. AMR often take too much connection and I can't browse any page while AMR is refreshing Manga list chapters .

Is it possible for future release to:

1. check manga updates one by one instead of simultanously check multiple series at once?

2. add a badge on toolbar icon that indicate AMR is refreshing chapter list?

Number two is an interesting idea... like a spinning sharingan or something maybe? A lot like the gmail, gvoice extensions?

Number one will be less load, but over a larger time frame, so it might not be preferable for certain users. But yes, also a very valid idea... I wonder if there's any more efficient way check for manga updates while using less bandwidth... An option to run through the manga list one by one would have to be a feature turned on and off at the user's discretion though...

Yes, an option to run through the manga list one by one would be great. Hopefully it's not hard to implement and considered by polo for future release feature.

And, spinning sharingan would be awesome

It could be possible to run only when the browser is idle, although I don't know what the documentation means by "idle", if it is no network activity or no browser activity at all. The first is what I would like. Also I don't know if this behaviour would be enough to address this issue.

So you will have two new options in the next release :
- Spin the sharingan while lodaing chapters list... (:))
- Save bandwidth by loading updates one by one...

I released a beta version which you can download here :


I didn't made a version release because i already released 2 versions this month... so I will wait for new features before releasing it...
Once installed, AMR will still say that it's 1.3.11 but it's effectively 1.3.12.01

I included both
- Spin the sharingan while lodaing chapters list... (:))
- Save bandwidth by loading updates one by one...
