I read that displaying latest chapters will consume more bandwidth for supported sites.

What if an optional search is added for chapters? (Only try to search chapter when used) As long as it is not abused, it shouldn't give too much burden on their bandwidth.


Off topic: What is the maximum suggested number of website activated for manga searching? Although I currently have 14 sites selected, there was a time that I couldn't select more than 8. Any more than that, I will not get search result/updates at all.

Are you using the last version? Now AMR use the localwebdatabase so "There is no more limitations on the number of activated websites!", maybe its your connection speed.

I have all sites active with a 1Mbps adsl connection, and it works just fine.

Yeah I'm using the latest version..... I haven't been checking the changelog after I first encountered the problem... So I assumed it's still around. lol

yeah, but i think he's talking about the search functionality, not the self deleting manga libraries. The transfer to SQL might indeed fix the issue though.
