All Mangas Reader

Not a huge problem, but a somewhat annoying one.

When reading a manga series of shorter length, the "Last read chapter" listing works perfectly. However, with a longer manga, where - pardon my terrible description - if you click on the All Mangas reader button, and click on the drop down box for chapters under that manga's heading, any chapter before the lowest chapter listed won't register as being the last read chapter, no matter what you do.
Once you pass the lowest chapter number on that list, it works perfectly.

For example, say I'm reading "Manga manga the manga about manga" and it has 82 chapters so far. The dropdown box will display from 82 through down to 34. Until you read chapter 34, it won't register you as having read any of that manga, but once you get past 34, it will register as normal.

Thank you for a great plugin, though, and I've not had a single other problem so far! It's really excellent, bloody good work.

You know I made that manga up, come on now.

I'm getting the problem on any manga long enough that an earlier chapter doesn't show up in that drop-down list on the tab, anything above 50 chapters, though it really doesn't get to be a problem till you get to manga with eighty chapters or above. It's reproducible across all of my machines, and the machines of friends I've tried it on.

Basically, I was asking whether or not this happens on a specific site or just on a particular manga, because on every manga I see that has over 50 chapters (even those with 400-600+ chs) I can still see all of the chapter names from 1 through the end. Try searching for that manga (whatever manga that is) manually, and try to add it on a different manga site. Then see if that one has the same problems... Also: if you could mention anything else that might lead to finding out why this is malfunctioning? I feel like you're not giving enough information to solve this issue.

Okay! I've tested across every English site - I'll test the non-English later, pardon my selfishness, but I can't read most of those languages very well, so I was leaving them for last - but it seems to happen consistently with Goodmanga, and sporadically with the others, However, with the others it will often correct itself after a few chapters, if it does occur - I'm trying to reproduce it with all of them, which means trying a lot of different manga under different conditions, which is taking time, but so far, I've found no reliable way to force it to happen. So far, I've been unable to make it happen with Manga reader and Manga Here, but I will continue on trying.

Will get back to you with the results of more tests.

Test protocols is as follows -
Test one - Open as many different manga as possible, of varying sizes, in every site. Skip randomly around the earlier chapters to see if it occurs, then skip to later chapters, and see if it corrects itself if it is occurring, or if it happens if it is not.

Test two - As before with manga variation and site variation, but instead proceeding in chapter order using both the next button and the drop down menu in the page bar.

Test three - As before, but using drop-down menus exclusively, both skipping at random, and then proceeding to try viewing in order.

wow, that's interesting. So at what point do you classify it as having a problem? If you hit a chapter and AMR doesnt update with that chapter name? or if you hit the last chapter and it doesn't mark itself as read?

Some screenshots would be nice, and if it happens specifically with goodmanga, maybe try another site?
