I don't know how much the operating system has to do with Chrome or its plugin system, but when I tried to install AMR on the Linux version of Chrome, the plugin occasionally crashes. Even when I first installed it, the plugin crashed when I try to click on it. The plugin is also really really slow/sluggish under the Linux version of Chrome. This could be just my old computer that I was experimenting on.

I currently haven't had any version of Linux installed but this happened in all versions of Linux I used when I was experimenting with different OSes.

Anyone else with Linux also able to confirm this?

I don't know now, but a year ago I was still an Ubuntu user, and had AMR under Chromium. It worked fine, but for some reason every now and then it kind of got frozen getting the chapter list (it still worked to read, but didn't remember whatever you did afterwards); because of that, the icon didn't show a single number. Disabling/reenabling it solved it.

Does Kojiro_S's solution worked for you ?

If not, try to activate the "save bandwidth" option... it could come from a huge amout of bandwidth use...

By the way, remember to disable the hosts you're not going to use. It will improve performance a lot.

I can't test it right now since I don't have Linux installed on any of the computers. If anyone else does have Linux installed, can they check on this?

But, the issue does not appear to have been the same. AMR crashes when I try to load the list. I just had to enable it after it crashes. Its really odd.

Maybe switching to another kind of list could have some effect. Try the simplified version (or the full one if you're already using simplified) and disable grouping by name. Who knows.

Also try opening the list on a tab and then bookmark it. Maybe that will bypass the crash.
If all else fails, then probably one of the mangas listed has become buggy due to their host site modifying their webpage. If that was the case then the only workaround would be to find the troublesome entry and kill it with fire.
