All Mangas Reader

hello everyone, I just fixed mine regarding the mangahere problem a while ago, just go to the facebook of allmangasreader, go to the comments section and find Mark Sløk Tietze's comment(just keep scrolling down), and under him is Michael Meyers, read and follow his instructions and It'll be all fine. Mine just returned to normal, can load the entire chapter and it fixed everything, gives updates etc. Give the man a credit

I tried the above fix to the dot, and it didnt fix anything on my end. im not quite sure where I went wrong. maybe changing the .com to .co in the import/export file could be the reason that changing the url in the database didnt fix anything?

I can't find the file name with nhjl and no databases folder.

Edit: Nevermind I found it, had to search C:\..... using backslashes instead of /. It works now, the chapters are fully shown for mangahere.

Kirin53, yeah, you have to fix this in localStorage. You've probably read stuff since the plugin was updated (it seems to have been fixed). I don't have the energy to go into how to do this in detail, but I'll explain in somewhat technical terms what I did and then maybe someone else can explain in more depth if they want.

Step 1: export your data and then open everything in a text editor. Do a find/replace and change mangahere.com to mangahere.co.

Step 2 is to delete duplicates that are now there because of step 1. Paste what you have into the Import window in AMR and click Let AMR read it, and then Import manga (erase). The spinner will get stuck and keep spinning.

Step 3, Now open up your Chrome dev tools (Cmd-Opt-I on Mac, or click menu bar -> Tools -> Developer Tools). Click the Resources tab, and then click Local Storage. Easiest is if you do this while on the Import/Export page since then you will probably only see the local storage for the extension. It starts with chrome-extension://nhj — you don't have to change anything here, just double-click it then jump to the end of it and see what the last manga it was able to do was. This is where it's getting stuck.

Step 4, do a find in your text editor for the manga name. You'll probably find 2 entries for it. An entry looks like {"mirror": (etc. etc.)}, main thing is that it's contained between the two curly braces { }. Delete the curly braces and everything between them ONLY of the one that has the lower latestReadChapter (or really whichever you want to keep). Now copy all the code and repeat step 2 again. It should work or you should farther at least (repeat step 3 to check). Repeat steps 2-4 until it works.

Side note 1: Rather strangely, sometimes I got issues with ones that weren't duplicates. In this case I made a note of the title and latest read chapter and then removed that {mirror} as well. This got me further back into ones that were actually duplicates. I don't know what the deal was with those.

Side note 2: If you get supposed duplicates from near the end of the list, you might be good to go. Just add any that didn't come through manually. Shouldn't be many at that point.

Nah, I didn't have to do it for all of them. Only a handful. Things were still kinda broken but after some time they worked again. I think AMR takes a few minutes to synchronize even with itself (it's kinda confusing).

It just randomly broke on me again, but I guess (hope) it's temporary. My reading list is intact.
