This feature was working up until i was reading a manga and chrome crashed and since then it wouldn't display the whole chapter. I tried multiple websites, installing the beta, restating chrome, restarting my computer and changing it in the settings. Nothing worked.

Same problem here.

I just get the first page of the chapter, and have to click through it. This is the same for different sites.

Also, when chapters have been read, they wont be displayed as 'read' and wont turn into that nice satisfying blue color.

I have to hit the 'mark latest published chapter as read' button manually, luckily that still works.

For the rest, the extension seems to work fine, giving me a pop up for the newly published manga.
I hope there will be a fix for which I dont have to re -install my chrome browser, which is too much of a hassle.

And my Win 7 laptop is not working either. (probably same chrome version).

Please look at: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4540

The temporary solution was to change the allowed websites in options. I chose only 5/6 English websites in "Supported Web Sites" Tab and now it is working. I think CXC manga doesn't work...

It seems that for me the problem resolved itself.

Is just started my computer minutes ago, and everything works again.

Haven't done anything is terms of re-installing or manually updating on my computer.

I'm just glad I can get my fix again.

Perhaps something to do with chrome update in the last 2 days to v.76. Requires a restart of chrome so perhaps that's what happened. Odd why that would be though...
