Thanks for the explanation. That actually makes sense. I do appreciate the work put into this, I was just trying to understand what was wrong. I'm not done trying to fix it on my end, and I'll keep trying. If I can't figure it out I'll try switching to the beta version instead and see if that works. If it still doesn't I guess I'll just keep waiting and try to install new versions as they come out until it works again.

Well I finally managed to get through a proxy and get the supported website lists back. However my manga list is still blank and still doesnt add mangas when i go to the chapter or go into it's full chapter scrolling as before. i am now able to search for mangas on AMR but it won't save into the list. I also tried importing my backup but didn't work. I made sure synchronize was off before i tried importing too. I'm getting there little by little.

ok i managed to get everything back up. with the proxy on and synchronized checked i turned closed the browser and reopened it then all my mangas were back in and it updated the chapters instantly. now to check if it can work without the proxy so i'll try to replicate Dancejoeydance situation

Hey guys , just follow what braiam said in the 1st page, just use a proxy and it will fix the problem.
but don't use a random proxy that you find on the internet. for example i use the proxy of my isp that they gave us (users). and *tada* problem solve , thanks braiam!

For some reason when I restarted my computer because I was moving into my dorm room for school, all my manga files where deleted which is fine I guess but the worst part is that i cant even register or save new mangas. Like when I tried to search up a manga in the search box the search button wont work, but when I tried to hit search without typing anything in the box It tells me I need to put something in. This is weird please help

Did you check your Supported Sites list, in the options page?

This is happening to a lot of user, like me, try looking at the "AMR not working AT ALL" tread.

Another Update, i shut down chrome and took off my proxy and now it did it all over again, it shows the number of unread manga i have but when i press on it it is empty and when going to a manga its like normal 1 pic per page ..... hope that this problem gets fixed, i dont want to find a proxy every day just to update my list

@Master7Zero you aren't using a "Private session" nor delete the cache each time you close Chrome, right?

i am having the same exact issue. everything was working just fine and dandy until two days ago then all of a sudden poof it stopped working. nothing was changed on my pc. My ISP does not nor has it ever blocked any connections to anything. even so i tried to route it through my VPS's proxy which is on a completely different continent and still nothing. the supported sites list is completely empty. i tried clearing all caches and temp files on all browsers , removing and reinstalling the app , uninstalling and re-installing chrome , and before i re-installed chrome i used CCleaner to clean my registry and yet again clean all temp files. ive tried both the stable and beta version , heck i even tried installed stright from github and yet still nothing. none of this makes any sense as to why it just quit working.
