All Mangas Reader

Are anyone else using XMarks for syncing their bookmarks? I seem to have some problems with it, namely that the "latest read chapter" doesn't seem to be updated properly... Even though I've read all the chapters on one computer, they still show as new on the other one.

I haven't really tested it extensively since it's usually easier to just click on the "Read" button manually than to force syncing and resyncing to see if it works...

I'll see if I can get some time to test it more properly, but for now I just wanted to know if anyone else is using XMarks with All Mangas Reader and how it works for them.

OK I must admit it doesn't always fail. I see that today on my *cough*work computer*cough* it did mark the chapters I read yesterday as read.

So I guess the problem might just be that the computer I used to read the manga didn't upload the bookmark changes yet when I turned it off/put it into hibernation...?

I really don't know if XMarks' automatic syncing runs on a schedule or if it's supposed to upload changes as they are made. If it's the last case, then I guess it could be that it doesn't notice changes made to the bookmark from All Mangas Reader, and that it therefore only syncs when I restart Chrome or do other changes to the bookmarks... *ponders*

Well if I get the chance I'll also test with two computers in the same place. (Kinda hard to do any testing when both computers are not in the same place at all.

haha, that's possible... You might need to find a "sync now" button for your xmarks extesnsion. How come you choose not to use the default bookmark syncing, btw? Does XMarks give you something that chrome's sync doesn't?

I think my reasoning was mainly that I could at any time switch to (almost) any other browser and still keep my bookmarks.

I have to admit that is pretty silly now because:
1. I hardly ever use bookmarks anymore. Most of the sites I visit daily I just type the URL directly.
2. The biggest reason I don't want to switch browsers nowadays is because of the All Mangas Reader extension.
