I also have this problem: I found that it's not loading the website list correctly. Specifically, in my case it's only loading 5: 13Th Hour Scanlations, Vortex Scans, Whua! Mangás, VNSharing, and AdultManga. At first I thought it was a connection problem, but I can successfully view the and of course websites.json correctly. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it several times, bouncing back and forth between the stable and beta releases a few times. I also verified that the above websites are the only ones that are stored in the extension's database folder (C:\Users\Shawn\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\databases\chrome-extension_nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd_0\(a number: it's after changing during each reinstall. no extension, it's just a sqlite database and can be read as such)). If I attempt to manually delete these rows and use 'refresh website implementations' from the manga list, the same ones pop up again, although sometimes there are slight changes in the list: the most I've seen show up at once is 6. I'm also after looking at the source and I have NO IDEA why it's doing this.
Ah, and anyone else with the problem: look in the and see how many are listed. If it's the same one (or with minor changes: one or two might be added or removed) it might be an issue with server somehow: although that doesn't explain why I can read websites.json just fine in the actual browser.
