Isn't there a way to stop auto update because AMR 1.3.14 more stable than 1.4.0

"Stable" in what sense? You are having problems with the version 1.4.0? Have you checked out the FAQ's?

Also, as far I know, chrome/ium is the one that manage the updates of the extensions, so you have to check the official documentation (nope, I don't know how to do that).

I bet if you change the extension code, it wont update. If you download it from http://www.allmangasreader.com/versions/ and edit it a bit..

butttt... idk =/ besides, it's not really more stable than 1.4.0? how do you mean "more stable"?
