I almost did a Batoto script suport, before I knew well the site. They have mangas in many languages but don't have a language filter in the search tool. On top of that they put the chapters in all languages of a manga in the same page. There's no easy way (easy to code and easy to your computer handle too) to programatically know what titles they have in each language and to separate the different languages in each manga. If you use the site and you really like it, ask them to at least put a language search filter. This would be a lot useful not only to us but to all their users as well. |

Oh, I programmed some mirrors for the current version of the AMR, and I think there will be some more in the next version. As those files are "scripts" and them add "support" for mirrors... but as I'm not a native english speaker I think I might have said something weird... |

I just wrote a script for Batoto and sent it off. Hopefully it will be included in a future version of AMR. Hope it's useful. |

How do your script handle, let's say, this http://www.batoto.com/comic/_/comics/claymore-r303 ? I would have to "read" both english and turkish translations? I can choose? When there's a new turkish chapter I who only reads english would have AMR telling me about a "new chapter"? Also, even if I read english and turkish, there's no point in reading the same chapters in both languages... As I said, I almost did a Batoto script, but this kept me away from it. Batoto doesn't have a simple search by language filter. It's annoying. |

Unfortunately, Batoto's site is lacking in many ways. The HTML structure is pretty nasty too. The main point, though, is that they're a rare gem in retaining quality scans. You're right; I hadn't bothered much looking into languages (many of the scans on Batoto are English only) so all my testing was done with manga with only single language scans. As I can see now, this problem does effectively break my script if there are multiple languages available. There's not much can be done about this until Batoto sort their website out. For the moment this script works fine for me on many manga, but I'll see about a fix when/if Batoto has a language filter. Looking at their , in #4 there's a language sort feature. I'm not sure if this extends to searches, but I guess we'll see. I can't imagine that it wouldn't. |

Effecively, I tried your batoto implementation and the only problem is the language filter... I think we can find a workaround this way : - Do not list all mangas, force user to key its search... for each entry found, find all differnet language and create one entry for each (ex : One Piece, One Piece (Turkish), On Piece (Japanese) - These entries do not point to the main page but to the associated manga in it's own language (batoto have a sort of internal id to differneciate mangas in differnet languages) - Find list of chapter directly in a chapter page (because in these pages, chapter list is filter by language...) I will give a try on that before publishing next release... Thanks guys... |

If possible, allow user to opt-in to viewing ads only on Batoto while removing ads on other online viewers.. |

Yeah, that was one of my requests on another post. I've whitelisted Batoto on my Adblock extension, and also disabled ad-hidding from AMR, yet I still can't see ads on Batoto. |
