Until now, I was banning ip addresses when more than one spammeur has the same IP
I banned mail domains too (like sgvdfhg@iamamorron.com --> ban *@iamamorron.com)

All this forum spam is pissing me off, is there any way to stop these bots from registering? Or at least ban them and delete the topics? |

Well... you're right... I deleted the spam but it will come back... I will nominate you as moderator as soon as i found how to do... The only way to prevent bots from registring is to raise the captcha level... but I tried the default next level and it's hard to answer... (quite ugly) My biggest problem is that a lot of bot register on the forum and a lot of real user must mail me to be registered because they didn't receive mail... I will fix all this quite soon... |

Ok, you are know moderator... You may have a "moderator control panel" button on each page to do what you want... I know you will use it well... |

Awesome! I figured out how to check the IP addresses, so from now on, if i find more than one spammer from a certain IP, will ban IP. Is there a better way of doing it? Mine way is kinda roundabout... EDIT: also, what about all of those users with 0 post count and only an address or a advertisement website in their "occupation" or www fields? What was wrong with the emails btw? |

haha, yeah, but to find ip you have to go to the little question mark and find IP for each individual post? And I can't see email addresses (as far as I know), so i can't really ban those... |
