Current situation:

When starting Chrome I get notifications about newly released manga chapters which I already read on another computer. The new chapters available state is cleared almost immediately due to sync kicking in. This creates unnecessary noise for the user.

Suggestion:

If possible, wait for a Chrome sync cycle to happen before showing notifications of any kind to the user to avoid redundant notifications. I don't know the internals of Chrome's extension interface but at least it would be something to keep in mind for the future.

That's wierd...

Chrome's sync cycle should be the first thing that runs when you open a browser.

Also, unless specifically checked under options menu, AMR shouldn't search for new chapters as soon as the browser starts up. If you choose to use this feature, please understand it comes with these notifications.

To turn this off, try un-checking: "Update chapters list on chrome startup" under "All Mangas Reader" tab in AMR options.

I've been starring at the options screen for a few minutes now but I can't find such an option:

I also looked in the other tabs to no avail. According to the extension manager I am using AMR 1.3.11.
