No clue as what the problem could be. The domain is still .net.

It's not as serious as before, but for some reason today already notified-and-read chapters (from today) were later once again notified as new, and clicking on the notification toast, like before, took me to the homepage.

Also, arrow keys are still in conflict with Batoto's default controls, and ads are still absent.

Are you sure none of the chapters were reposted? When this happens AMR will tell they are new.

I don't know, but it just happened again and this time it was not on Batoto (Evil Flowers). O_O

It can happen in any mirror. But it is not normal happening this often. Some mirrors display the date every chapter was released, you can look that.

Seems Batoto set something up to block AMR as stated in their forums. I hope this can be resolved.

The watermarks for some chapters can be disabled by installing a certain extension (APNG). They were meant to block downloads, but Chrome doesn't support animated pngs natively.


Problems with multiple chapter loading, it seems. Guess the reduced bandwidth use option should be on by default.

I can also understand that they may want to block AMR since it blocks their ads even when the "Block ads" option within AMR is disabled. Chapters still load nicely, but the chapter list won't update any Batoto chapters anymore, and clicking on manga will send you to an error page.

So does AMR just get directed to the banned page whenever it tries to check for new chapters on Batoto and not overload their servers?

Seems to be the case. The only thing that works is the reader per-se, but chapters need to be opened from the site.

So can anything be done about this? I try to support both manga artists as well as the scanslation groups by buying manga as well as only reading at Batoto. I'm just worried i'm going to lose my privileges at Batoto if i keep using AMR. I'm so addicted to AMR that i'd hate to not be able to use it.

Looks like AMR needs a work over so it isn't as inefficient... I personally cant think of a way to make it more efficient though... any ideas?
