Recently the extensions icon in the top hot bar will keep spinning and spinning (and showing in chrome's task manager that the extension is using cpu and memory that it usually isn't). If I go into the settings and turn off the icon spinning while its updating chapter lists it will still keep spinning. It stops after closing Chrome out and restarting it but seems to happen again after it does a chapter list update. Between each step I wait a minimum of 1 minute for memory and cpu usage to settle and all numbers come from Chrome's internal task manager tool. If you have the setting to spin the icon during chapter list update it will keep spinning after the network activity of the Fresh Chrome open AMR is at 38,000K Memory and no CPU Open up the tab that has all my manga's listed it settles at 130,000K or so with no CPU usage Run the chapter list update and close the tab and memory sits around 100,000K and 2-4 CPU With the tab back open Memory is 165,000K and 2-6 CPU Run the Website Implementation and close the tab Memory sits at 109,836K and 1-5 CPU Tab back open Memory is at 174,492K and 1-5 CPU Run Chapter List update again with refreshing the tab Memory is at 200,000K and 7-12 CPU The only new site that I've been following is MangaJoy, but here are all of them I have that it would search through. +1 The constant update eats up an entire core on my computer. Seems like there's a busy loop somewhere that never finishes. |

Unfortunately, I can't get a consistent repro either. Manually updating the chapter/website lists doesn't seem to cut it. Perhaps there needs to actually be content that requires updating to get into the bad state. Once in the bad state though, the only way I was able to stop it was by disabling/re-enabling the plugin. Next time it does this, I'll try to set a breakpoint and see if I can find where its stalling. I tried posting my export, but it won't let me upload .txt files. I also tried pasting it to the post itself, but then the server times out when I try to submit the post lol. Any ideas? Do you know what filetypes are allowed in this forum? I guess I can also post it externally somewhere. |

Yeah, I'm encountering this bug as well. A friend of mine who I introduced to this extension is encountering it as well. The only information that I'm able to provide is the following: The only supported websites that I have active are: Batoto Gao-subs Manga Eden (En) Manga Reader Manga Traders Manga-Fox MangaAccess MangaStream When I fired it up a little bit ago, I noticed that my 'unread' counter went up by 2 (from 411 to 413, yeah, i know...the number! =p), however...the display box that tells me that I have new chapters did not come up for any of them and it just kept spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning. Until I disabled and re-enabled it, that is. I'm wondering if the problem doesn't lie somewhere in the box(es) never coming up or something...I don't know. ^^ EDIT: After looking through my manga list, the only noticable manga that had chapter updates (that made my chapters listing increase, that is) were from Batoto, Manga Eden and MangaAccess it seems. I'm not sure if those are the actual culprits or not, as it could've been one of the unread chapters ones causing it, too...but...just thought I'd share that information at least. |

Okay here are my two lists one before and after thought they may be the exact same but thought the additional one may help. Chrome: Version 35.0.1916.114 m. OS: Windows 7 64bit The first is an exported manga list and bookmark after a chrome restart. The second list is the same that was taken after after just running the Chapter List Update and after clicking update hitting refresh for the AMR tab. The icon continues spinning even though all visible network activity has stopped. No notification popped up at all after running it. I am able to reproduce this every single time after closing and re-opening chrome. This also happens every time the scheduled Chapter List update runs. If i just keep clicking update chapter list and refreshing the the cpu usage keeps going up by around 5-6% each time. Oh just remembered I can look at AMR's background page and heres the pastebin for what that log had and the errors it was reporting after running the chapter update list 3 times. Hopefully this will help. Edit: I actually had to close and reopen chrome for this to register that I posted as the page was getting caught up on something |

Had it happen again just now, it was when there was an update to one of my manga. It seems to be happening when there's an update from some site's manga list...and then it fails to pull up the window announcing a new chapter is out, but it keeps trying to...which then keeps the eye spinning endlessly. I'll look to see if there's a way to turn this announcement off to try and isolate it as the cause, if I can...but it's probably something to look at at least. |

After turning off the window pop up notification and letting it run...I had several cycles run so far, two of which at least have given me new chapters at some website or another...and the eye hasn't gotten stuck spinning. Still not sure if it's actually something with the popup window causing problems or if it's something else. Honestly, only time will tell (as in, if it doesn't do it after a couple of days, etc, heh). ^^ |

I released several updates yesterday and today. I hope all the issues will go away. |
