The patch applies to v1.5.4 stable, not any beta release (if you installed beta, you need to uninstall and install the stable release to apply this patch)
For Windows 7 go to (replacing your username) and extract the contents (4 files) of the attached zip file:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd\1.5.4_0\
In OS X the Chrome extension folder is here:
/Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Extensions/nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd/1.5.4_0/
If you cannot see Library folder, you may open Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder..., then type ~/Library and hit Enter. After that, you can browse Chrome folder.
You should replace the existing files:
css/options.css
js/mgEntry.js
js/options.js
js/popupSearch.js
