All Mangas Reader

Good Morning! I was unsure if my post would be more correct if i posted it here or on the help page, so I just chose to post it here as I deem it more of a bug than of me not understanding the software.

I have been utilizing AMR for about 3-4years now, earlier this was no issue but nowadays/(a few months back) AMR freezes 5 minutes after I launch chrome and afterwards it refuses to either open or to show/load any chapters which i open manually. I have reinstalled AMR 3 to 4 times now and I have waited for some updates in order to check if that would fix my problem. But the problem is still here and it is a very persistent one.

I have not manually updated/reinstalled Chrome as I do not see a reason why I should have done such.

I would very much appreciate any and all answers I get as I want to further enjoy reading my mangas.

(If you wonder anything, just ask! I will do my best to answer you as I will check in on the post once in a couple of hours.)

EDIT: Worth mentioning, when AMR freezes it prevents me from downloading ANYTHING from the internet, no matter if its a picture, torrent or installation file e.g .exe)

That's just plain weird. AMR shouldn't interfere with your normal internet navigation. Just in case check the console like explained here viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2931#p7548 and here viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2931#p7552 and tell us the version of chrome and AMR.

(Chrome wanted to update when I checked the version, so now I am currently running version : 26.0.1410.43 m)

Have you tried just disabling the sites that seem to be throwing errors from the supported sites page?

Wanted to start off thanking you for taking time off to answer me as it looks like that the other person which answered first abandoned me.

"How many sites do you have active on there?" I'm afraid I don't quite get what you mean. Do you mean which sites I get my manga from?

The issue with AMR freezing just fixed itself automatically, I have no idea how it repaired itself but it might have been that the Chrome update fixed it.

I was just about to say that I found another problem, that some mangas show that they are on chapter 1 even though that I sometimes was at chapter 50 or 100.
Solution? Change manga site, mangafox was the only site with that problem so I changed to some other sites. No problem with the solution as I only have around 6 mangas on that site.

Umm... quite weird still. Also, sorry, is not that I abandoned you, is just that I was unable to reproduce it in any of my builds.

About the MangaFox problem, we are aware of it, just that nobody of us seems to read mangas there so is kinda in the bottom of our priority list.

Well, the problem fixed itself automatically (I hope) as it hasn't appeared the last 3-4 days. I think the chrome update fixes it but i'm not sure.
If it were to arise again I will most probably resurrect this thread if I find the need, most probably not as I will then try to reinstall AMR + Chrome and see what happens then.

i think a chrome update fixed it eventually but what fixed it for me when i had the problem arise.. i made the little icon stop spinning during update and turned of the unread manga counter and the freeze thing stopped happening.. which only happened after it tried to update.
