I'm now using Chromium in Ubuntu 11.10. Although the problem I'd explain later was also happening when I was still using Google Chrome stable version in Ubuntu 11.04. Every other time, the extension would just stop working. The icon is still there, but there is no number indicating unread sources or the grey zero. And if I click it the list is empty and all of the menu options are not clickable. I use Windows 7 on my other computer and this was never happened there so I know exactly it has something to do with Ubuntu. When this happen, I'd just restart the browser until it gets normal again. I try to cope with this and not complain because I couldn't find any other people with the same problem when I googled it. But now I just can't take this anymore so I wrote here. Anyone had any clue what's going on? |

Try this: export all your manga and bookmarks using the export tool, and then uninstall and then reinstall amr... Post back if this fails please! |

I can confirm this. I've tried it on Ubuntu and Archlinux. I've reinstalled the OSs and AMR many times but there'are still times that AMR does not at Chrome (or Chromium) start up. One solution I found is to disable and enable AMR in the extension manager to get it working. |

Do you use the same version of Chromium/Chrome in Ubuntu and Windows 7? |

Yeah! This happens with both stable packages from Google and Chromium with the same stable version as Chrome. And I have this bug ever since I found AMR. |

I sometimes use Chromium on Ubuntu in a virtual machine to try some things without messing with the real thing that is working well, but I think I never used it for so much time. Say, this happen mostly after long or short time the browser is opened? If this happens after long times, it might be due to memory management and such esoteric things. |

This happens at browser startup. |

Hmm, that's really irritating... are you using a 64 bit browser? have you tried fixing the permissions on the extension data? also try updating or renstalling chromium on Linux. |
