| Post subject: | Manga list disapeared in MacOS |
I just copied the entire folder inside of the folder with the name "nhjloa...." I wasn't sure what to copy because nothing else had that name. anyway, long story short I lost all of my followed manga. i have the folder that was in the "nhjloa..." folder and have tried uninstalling AMR and reinstalling it multiple times but i still get a sharingan with a "0". Everything functions but i just don't have any of my manga. Is there a way i can get it back or am i screwed? I'm 100% sure i did this wrong... |

pm'd you a link to the folder. It's not tooooo big of a deal if my manga was deleted...just it'd be nice if i didn't have to go looking for all of them again and figure out what chapter i was on for each one. Thanks a ton |

now that i read up a bit on it i think i did have my bsync on because in my bookmarks i had a folder named "Bsync" and i never made it myself. Odd thing is I can't find that folder in my bookmarks now that i need it. Oh well. Scratch that option for recovery off the list. |

You're right, that's the wrong folder. It doesnt have any of the local data, only the AMR extension local code. I don't have a mac, so I can't just browse through it, but thefile should be around there somewhere, under Local File Storage or something. As far as the old bsync file, try putting "about:bookmarks" into your URL and see if you can find it that way. //It'll only be there if you had it in a much older version of chrome, since the newer chrome versions don't sync javascript bookmarks |

dammit. ok so did i get that folder from the right place at least? I went to that exact location and that was the only folder with the "nhj..." beginning. Inside that folder was the folder i sent you. You might want to specify that you're not 100% sure on where to find these things in the FAQ's. Just so other mac users don't do what i did y'know? oh and i tried looking everywhere for the bsync folder. nothin. thanks for trying anyway |

Yeah =/ sorry. I'm just going off of where I used to find data back when I had a macbook to test things out on (like 4 years ago or so) I know chrome's changed a lot since then, but still.. idk. I'd have to mess with it and look for it. |

So i think i found the file you were talking about copying. Is it called this? chrome-extension_nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd_0.localstorage If so then it's in users/me/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Local Storage Not users/me/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Extensions SO close |

there's also a folder "chrome-extension_nhjloagockgobfpopemejpgjjechcpfd_0" in users/me/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Databases if that's anything important. I'm not sure. I'm ok with computers but i'm far from a whiz with file structure and what not. Lemme know if i can help you explore my mac. I figure if we can figure out what to copy or whatever we can help other people with macs with this problem...or i could be the only idiot who is having this problem. haha |
