Seems like newest chrome build fixed the issue, anyone still having this problem after updating?

EDIT: or possibly something mangafox did serverside?

Probably Manga Fox solved itself, but we can't guarantee that they will really update all its series. There's a huge lot of old, completed and unpopular mangas there. But the problem now is: I NEED a broken manga to solve the broken mangas thing.

I'm not so sure, I'm pretty sure the problem was with chrome, since this was happening on many different manga sites, but not on newer versions of chrome...

You may not need to make a fix, so long as everyone updates their chromes.

Hmm looks like amr toolbar problem is rather random while reading old chapters. But it is not working at all for new chapters. And another problem all the chapters that i have finished reading are becoming unread after i restart chrome.

for the rolling back of chapters, try reinstalling AMR (make sure to export a backup of your manga, just in case)

Just released chapters had problem in Manga Fox even before the last update and before Manga Fox changing of layout, but they usually turns well and nice a few hours or a day before the release. And in the last chapter you usually don't need the other chapters as well, right?

And Someone516, it MIGHT be true that Chrome is causing some or all the problems, but see, you use canary channel, right? I use dev channel, so we can't say that that your Chrome updates should solve problems on my Chrome. And besides, no one can ask the users to have any Chrome version that isn't the last stable version. Not beta, not dev, not canary, but the oficial last stable version, that's the version any addon should strive for. So if doesn't work on last stable version, even if it works on any other channel, it's not a browser problem, it's a addon problem. Well, that's just what I think, even AMR not being mine, so I at least would like my few contributions to work on last stable version.

That's very true, but doesn't it work on stable chrome?

You said that you thought that updating Chrome solved the issue, and you said that you use canary channel, so I assumed you were saying that updating to last canary version would solve. If I assumed wrong, forgive me =)
